About Our Organization

Solutions For Somalia was established in October 2022 in response to an overwhelming need for humanitarian and development support. We are a humanitarian and development organization dedicated to transforming lives, with a core focus on empowering women and youth in Somalia.

Our mission is to harness the skills and talents of young women and men both within and outside the country, to foster prosperity, sustainable development, and social change. By prioritizing women’s leadership and youth engagement, we aim to create lasting, inclusive solutions that drive community empowerment and resilience.

SFS is a registered non-profit organization with the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation, as well as the Ministry of Planning of the Federal Government of Somalia. We collaborate closely with the five federal member states: Jubaland, Puntland, Southwest, Galmudug, and Hirshabelle.
