Promotion of formal and non-formal education

World over, education is recognized as the most effective investment by any household. Sadly, due to various factors, education in Somalia has been poor with few classrooms, poor teacher- children-ratios, class-children ratios (overcrowding), illtrained teachers, poor teaching material, and poor water and sanitation. Solutions For Somalia is not a panacea to all these problems. Still, we will make our small but significant contribution by sourcing teachers and education managers and tutors from the region and overseas. Solutions For Somalia sees much potential in the promotion of a volunteer system. We call upon all interested parties to contact us in this regard. By offering your skills on volunteer basis, you will have added a building block to the
education sector.
We need to combine efforts in improving this critical sector as a better education system will ensure a progressive, employable youth in future. It also lays a visionary organization for the cross-cutting issues of human rights, democracy, good governance, and gender sensitivity.
